Mark Newns - CEO
Mark founded Armadillo in 2001 with a view that the world's data networks were about to change for the better and that new questions of security were to be raised in every organisation, large or small.
Six years on, Mark has driven the Armadillo business forward to become one of the leading access security consultancies in Europe. In this short time, Mark has helped Armadillo to build a roster of leading clients from every major industry sector, such as Barclays, Britannia Airways, Clifford Chance, Accenture, Deutsche Bank, Pepsi and Virgin.
As CEO, Mark leads Armadillo's business strategy and client satisfaction initiatives.
Prior to founding Armadillo, Mark was responsible for international telecommunications strategy at Worldcom. Here he secured a place at the Worldcom President’s Club, acquiring considerable insight and expertise in the IP, Voice and Data industries.
Before Worldcom, Mark gained a wealth of consultancy experience through roles at Enterprise Networks Group, Allied Worldwide and Everex Systems UK. In these roles he was responsible for delivering customer satisfaction for global clients including Bearstearns Bank, EMI Group, Gartner Group, Kimberly Clark, and Reuters.
David Radley - Managing Director
David is Managing Director at Armadillo with overall responsibility for managing customer and technology partner relationships.
David joined Armadillo from Computacenter, where he held a number of senior management positions over an 18 year period. His last was role was as Divisional Director, Computacenter Direct, where he led the company’s mid-market strategy. Over his career at Computacenter, he was responsible for managing a number of large clients such as Ernst and Young, Direct Line, KPMG and PA Consulting. During his time at Computacenter, David not only built the mid-market business but transformed it into a stand alone organisation turning over £70 million. In addition to this, David has managed all the major segments and the City of London business for Computacenter, exceeding over $1 billion in sales in his career.
Solly Khan - Technical Director
As Armadillo’s Technical Director, Solly leads the pre-sales teams with responsibility for evaluating and discussing client’s security requirements.
Solly joined Armadillo in 2007 from BT where he was the Head of International Converged LAN and IPT. He has a deep knowledge of a range of technologies including; VPN, WAN, LAN, VLAN, TCP/IP, Routers, IP Sec, Security, VoIP, Converged Services and Hosted Services. He brings with him a wealth of technical and industry experience, having held various senior positions at the world’s major ISPs; UUNET, Worldcom, Sprint and Cable and Wireless.
