IGD (the association for International Grocery Delivery Agents) was an early adopter of secure virtual private networking technology, and needed a solution to ensure that its field staff were able to access its network securely and seamlessly from a number of varied devices and locations. Armadillo provided an innovative solution that assigns access rights 'on the fly' depending on the type of environment the user is in - access privileges will be assigned to IGD agents predicated by who the user is, her/his location and which device s/he is using.
QVC
Armadillo has provided a new mobile access and security solution for QVC, one of the largest online and broadcast retail operations in Europe. The new system enables QVC's mobile workforce, which represents 10% of all staff, to access their data wherever they are and whenever they need it, over whatever network is most convenient for them. The solution is paying immediate dividends, with senior commercial staff now able to tap into to up to the minute sales data in a totally safe environment.
